Custom Dog Kennel Fencing in Arkansas
Chew-proof, dig-proof, escape-proof outdoor pet enclosures. Sized for one dog or full multi-dog runs. Galvanized steel, professional-grade welded panels, concrete-set posts.
Built to Hold the Dog You Actually Have
Most homeowner-bought dog kennels are designed for a 30lb beagle. Then a 75lb lab gets in there for two days, finds the loose corner panel, and is gone. Or the dog learns to climb the 4ft chain link in a week. Or digs out the bottom of the panels in three days. The real solution is a kennel sized and built for your specific dog — height for the climbers, anchored bottom plate for the diggers, gauge-appropriate wire for the chewers, latches that opposable thumbs would have trouble with for the smart breeds.
Delta Fence LLC builds custom outdoor dog kennels and pet enclosures across Central Arkansas. We start by asking what dog you have, what dog you might have next year, and what failure mode worries you most. Then we spec the kennel: 6ft tall for climbers, 9-gauge welded wire for chewers, buried-bottom or concrete-anchor for diggers, double-latched gate for the smart ones. The result is a kennel that actually holds the dog — for years, not weeks.
Owner Kade Endl has built kennels across Arkansas ranging from single-run 8×12 home enclosures to multi-run breeder facilities and rescue/foster operations needing 8-12 separate runs with shared shaded common area. Same craftsmanship principles whether the kennel is for a $200 mutt or a $4,000 working dog — the dog is the dog and deserves a sound, safe enclosure.
Three Common Kennel Layouts
Single-Dog Backyard Run
8×12 to 10×20 single enclosure for one dog. Concrete pad or pea-gravel base, attached covered shelter, single double-latched gate. Most-requested residential configuration.
Multi-Dog Side-by-Side
Two to four runs sharing common dividers. Each dog has separate space + shared visual contact. Useful for households with multiple dogs that don’t share a single enclosure peacefully.
Breeder / Rescue Facility
6-12 runs in row or U-shape with central walkway. Drainage, heated mat hookups, indoor/outdoor connection. Built to USDA breeder/rescue facility standards if needed.
Anti-Failure Construction Detail
Anti-Climb Height
6ft minimum height for any dog over 40lb. 7ft for known climbers (huskies, GSDs, athletic mixes). No 4ft retail-store kennels — those are obstacles for the dog, not enclosures.
Anti-Dig Bottom
Buried 6-12 inch concrete footing along all sides OR concrete pad floor OR L-shape outward-facing wire skirt. Diggers stop digging when they hit something they cannot dig through.
Anti-Chew Materials
9-gauge welded wire (not knit chain-link) for chewers. Vinyl-coated optional. Gate latches and hinges sized for the dog — standard hardware-store hardware fails on 70lb+ dogs within months.
Dog Kennel Questions
How much does a custom dog kennel cost?
Single 8×12 backyard run with concrete base + covered shelter: $1,800-$3,200. 10×20 single run: $2,400-$4,200. Multi-dog 4-run side-by-side: $4,800-$8,500. Breeder facility (6-12 runs): $9,000-$28,000. Free on-site estimate — (501) 626-7024.
What size kennel do I need for my dog?
Rule of thumb: 5x the dog’s body length minimum, 8-10x preferred. For a 60lb lab: 8×12 minimum, 10×16 better. For two large dogs sharing: 12×20 minimum. We size based on the actual dog at your free estimate.
Do you build covered shelters too?
Yes. Most kennels include an attached or built-in shelter. Insulated dog house options for the cold side of Arkansas winter. Roof-over for full kennel shade in summer.
Will the kennel work for a known escape artist dog?
Yes — if we know the failure modes ahead of time. Climbers need 7ft + angled top return. Diggers need concrete pad or buried wire. Chewers need 9-gauge welded wire and proper gate hardware. Tell us how the dog has escaped before, we engineer around it.
How long does installation take?
Single backyard run: 1-2 days. Multi-dog: 2-4 days. Breeder/rescue facility: 4-10 days depending on scale and concrete work involved.
